Former Redskins cheerleader Christy Oglevee was elevated to celebrity when she was fired for having a relationship with Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley. Christy and Cooley remained lovers after a 2007 engagement, the celebrities were finally married on May 23rd, 2008.
Christy Oglevee graduated from high school in 2003 from her hometown in Loudon County, Virginia. After tossing her cap in the air, she joined the Washington Redskinette Cheerleader Squad. She was only 18 at the time. She also attended C.S. Monroe Technology Center to study cosmetology.
Several years ago, the Redskins tight end Chris Cooley was dating another cheerleader from the Redskinette cheerleading squad, despite rules against fraternizing between footbal players and cheerleaders. When his former girlfriend brought Redskinette Christy Oglevee over to Chris’ house, he fell in love with her instantly.
Unfortunately, after it got out that the cheerleaders were fraternizing with Chris they were given no choice but to turn in their pom-poms. Meanwhile, Christy did a fabulously sexy spread over at Maxim. Cheerleading did not make Christy much dough, but after those Maxim photos - the former chereleader turned sexy model should be doing quite well for herself.
Christy Oglevee and Chris Cooley have been together since before news of the contreversial firing brought her into the spotlist.. She had been only making less than a $100 per week back then and now Christy says, "It’ll be a good story to tell our kids one day.".
